Hi Jordon!,

Long time no talk, but I hope you are well :)!

I just wanted to say thank you, so very much for everything you did for our wedding. I can't tell you just how fantastic it was for everyone...not just Sean and me :). Countless guests have commented on the excellence of the venue, service and food. I can't even tell you how many people have said they've never had better filet mignon at a wedding :). I didn't have the filet, but I do have to say, those mini-cheeseburger sliders were one of the best things that has ever happened to my mouth and stomach ;). They were sooooo good!

Also, I have to commend you. You did such a great job with everything. You were so easy to work with, super responsive, super nice...you made everything so easy and took away a lot of the stress that can be involved in planning a big event. Sean and I also appreciated the drinks when we walked in from the ceremony ;). That helped with the stress too. Thank you so much. I can't say enough about how wonderful I think you are. A more formal thank you will be coming within the next couple of months. I'm just waiting on our photos so I can send you some (which we have some of...our photographer said she took thousands, so it is taking her awhile to get them all edited).

I just left a review on WeddingWire. I will leave one on The Knot too...is there any other place I can leave a review? Please let me know what else I can do to sing your praises and help ABC market. Sean and I are very happy customers. We come back to Newport a few times a year for family events, etc., so we'll definitely be in to say hi and have a drink.

Well, we returned from beautiful Aruba and our honeymoon late last night. Now, I'm on a plane (WiFi onboard!) headed to Atlanta for the PGA Championship. I wish I didn't have to leave Erin for the week, but work is work, right.

Anyway, I finally have some time to write and tell you... Our wedding was more than anything we ever could have dreamed and ALL of it was because of you! You are such a beautiful person and Erin and I will most certainly be checking in regularly to stay in touch.

You are absolutely amazing. EVERYONE and I mean EVERYONE was blown away by the entire evening. We are obviously very appreciative for all our parents did throughout the process, but if we're being honest, we never could have paid what we should have for the wedding YOU gave us. For that, you will always have a very, very special place in our hearts.

I guess in life we're blessed to come across someone special every now and again. It seems, at least for me, I've been lucky enough to be surrounded by special people and you're right at the top of that list.

It might not be until Jim and Hill's wedding, but Erin and I have a little token of appreciation for you. Also, as soon as I get the wedding photos from our photogs, I will get a CD to you. Feel free to use them however you'd like. I could babble on this entire flight about how awesome you are, but I'll leave it at this... We love you, Elaine. We will never forget our day and how special you made it for us.

Dear Mr. Kyriakedes,

Recently, I was fortunate to host my son's rehearsal dinner at your restaurant. On Friday, July 29th, friends and relatives gathered in the Atlantic Room for your traditional New England Style Clambake. We were not disappointed.

The food was excellent and the wait staff wa even better. Jordan, who helped me coordinate the event, could 't have been more accommodating or flexible when, unbeknownst to me, I found out 3 days before the event that some of our guests could not eat the mussels and clams that were cook along with the lobster. Our guests included friends an family from Brooklyn, NY (we will eat anything), friends from Connecticut (who love traditional clambakes), and friends and relatives of the bride who were from England (and who were not sure what a mussel was). Needless to say, I called Jordan who handled everything wonderfully.

The night of the rehearsal dinner, Purdence, Amanda and Casey treated all of us like VIPs and made sure that those of us who couldn't handle the clambake were served the proper meal. They were friendly, kind, patient-always smiling and accommodating. Josh kept the bar running smoothly. the wine was brilliant and the beer nice and cold.

When I had trouble with the sound on the slide show I had prepared, I think it was either Amanda or Casey , stepped up to the plate and helped me and -after about 5 minutes-problem was solved and the slide show AND music displayed perfectly to everyone's great relief and enjoyment.

I have to tell you that my sister -in-law(who is a retired executive from british Airways and has traveled extensively throughout the world) told me that the clambake was, in her estimation, the best that she had ever eaten. All the Brits raved about it- very high praise indeed. My son and his bride and her parents were just thrilled how beautiful and tasty everything was.

Today, everyone seems to have a problem with something and no one ever seems to be happy about anything. People are quick to write when something goes wrong, but I wanted you to know that on this Friday evening in July, everything went right. you can be proud of your restaurant and even prouder of the people who work for you. I picked the Atlantic Beach Club because 5 years ago, I had a surprise 30th Birthday party for my younger daughter here. It was a great choice then and it was a great choice now.

I hope that I have another happy occasion to celebrate in Newport and you can be sure that if I do, The Atlantic beach Club will be part of it as well.
